Based on the previous experience of its founder, in the trade of primary products in the beginning of the 20th century, Brandão Filhos was founded in 1939, first as a sisal exporter, later moving on to the production and export of cocoa and coffee in the south and southwest region of Bahia.

In the 1950s, as a natural extension of its activities, it started a Maritime Agency department that evolved into the current group of Agencies established in the main points of the Northeast and North of Brazil.

Recognized for the expertise of its executives in the various areas of the transport industry, Brandão Filhos has an active participation in the sectors of Shipping Agency (project cargo, containers and large solids), Chartering and Logistics in all states where it operates Bahia, Sergipe and Alagoas. playing an important role in the transport logistics of projects being implemented in the region.
